The faith of the sea
The Choir of Fathoms
The sea was whole before the star. The Sallowkin are Morrow's grieving children, not monsters.
The Choir reads the Fall as a wound that never healed. It has no great chapels: its Ebbsingers wander from island to island with the old hymns, and its shrines are salt-crusted niches on harbour walls, like the one on Skerrow.
- Deity: Morrow, the Drowned Mother.
- Holy day: the Low Ebb, the lowest tide of the year.
- Magic: the origin of Ebbsong; it sees Brandwork as feeding on a corpse.
- Allies: the fishing villages, Mira Tallow's family among them.
- Extremists: the Slackwater, who want Morrow to swallow the Heartcoal.
- Cleric domains: Tempest, Grave.
