Druid — Core Class

The druid speaks for the parts of the world that have no voice at the council table — the forest and the flood, the herd and the hunting cat, the slow turning of the seasons that outlasts every empire. Theirs is not book-magic wrung from careful study but a deep bargain with nature itself, older than cities and utterly indifferent to them. In exchange for their respect, the wild lends the druid its spells, its storms, and its shapes.

What sets the druid apart is that borrowing of forms. A druid need not merely command a bear or a hawk — they can become one, trading their own body for fang and feather and back again as the moment demands. Healer, scout, spellcaster, and beast in a single figure, the druid is the most shapeless and adaptable soul in any company, at home wherever the green things grow.

Signature Feature · Level 2

Wild Shape

As a Bonus Action, you draw on primal magic to transform into a Beast whose form you've studied — taking on its statistics while keeping your own mind, and shifting back just as swiftly. Scout as a hawk, fight as a bear, slip away as a mouse; the wild's whole bestiary becomes a wardrobe.

You have a limited number of uses per rest — and your chosen Druid Circle reshapes what Wild Shape can do, making this the beating heart of the class.

18th	Beast Spells
20th	Archdruid

1st Level

Druidic

You know Druidic, the secret tongue of your order — a language of the wild that others cannot speak and can only laboriously decode. You can leave hidden messages that pass unnoticed by the uninitiated, and you always have the Speak with Animals spell prepared, so the beasts of the world are never wholly strangers to you.

1st Level

Spellcasting

The wild answers when you ask. You are a full spellcaster, drawing on Wisdom to prepare and cast from the druid list — a repertoire of storms, thorns, healing, and beasts that you can reshape each day to meet whatever the land throws at you.

3rd Level

Druid Circle

You join a Circle of druids that shapes your calling, granting features at 3rd, 6th, 10th, and 14th level. Each Circle bends your Wild Shape and spellcraft toward a different face of nature — the Land, the Moon, the Sea, or the Stars. All four are gathered below.

18th Level

Beast Spells

The wild no longer silences your magic. You can cast druid spells while in a Wild Shape form, working the verbal and somatic components through paw, wing, and roar. Bear and spellcaster are no longer two things you switch between, but one creature at once.

20th Level

Archdruid

You become nature's equal rather than its supplicant. Your Wild Shape is effectively boundless — should you ever run dry, you regain a use the moment you roll Initiative. You can also ignore the Verbal, Somatic, and Material components of your druid spells, the wild simply obeying the shape of your intent.
