The Wyrdweaver — Sagor från Valoris

There is an older magic than the church's light: a craft of thread and whisper — of borrowed faces, of ill luck laid like a curse, of glimpsing the shape of what hasn't happened yet. The Light names it heresy and burns those who keep it. The old word for it, the one the church tried hardest to erase, is seiðr.

You have learned to weave. Not the loud magic of fire and rune, but the quiet kind — the kind that loosens a guard, turns a die, wears another's face, and is gone before anyone is sure you were there at all. Where you pull, fate gives. You try not to think too hard about whose hand holds the other end of the thread.

Level 3

Seiðcraft

You have learned to whisper the old craft. You can cast Disguise Self and Minor Illusion at will — without a spell slot and without material components — using Charisma as your spellcasting ability. Borrowed faces, thrown voices, a shadow where there is none: the small deceptions of seiðr come to you as easily as breath.

You also gain proficiency in Deception and Insight. If you're already proficient in one of them, you gain Expertise in it instead.

Level 3

The Evil Eye

You take up a loose end of someone's thread. As a Bonus Action, fix your gaze on a creature you can see within 30 feet, marking it in the weave for 1 minute. The mark ends early if the creature drops to 0 Hit Points or if you mark another; it requires no Concentration. While a creature bears your Evil Eye:

You don't need Advantage on your attack roll to deal your Sneak Attack damage to it — its guard has come loose in your fingers.
You have Advantage on Charisma (Deception) and Dexterity (Stealth) checks you make against it.

Level 9

Ill Wind

You can weave a moment's misfortune. When a creature you can see within 30 feet makes an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw, you can use your Reaction to force it to subtract 1d6 from the roll.

You can do this a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest. Bad luck clings hardest to the marked: using Ill Wind against the target of your Evil Eye doesn't expend a use.

Level 13

Borrowed Death

When you're hit by an attack roll or fail a Dexterity saving throw, you can use your Reaction to slip the moment. You take no damage from the triggering attack or effect, you become Invisible until the end of your next turn, and you can teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see — leaving in your place a fading double of yourself, an empty seiðr-shape that gutters out at the start of your next turn.

Once you use this feature, you can't do so again until you finish a Short or Long Rest.

Level 17

Cut the Thread

You have learned the deepest and most forbidden turn of the craft: to find a single thread in the weave and sever it. Once per Long Rest, as a Bonus Action, choose a creature you can see within 60 feet. Until the end of the current turn, its fate comes undone:

your attacks against it hit automatically and deal your Sneak Attack damage, with no attack roll and no need for Advantage;
it has Disadvantage on every saving throw;
and the first time you hit it this turn, it takes an extra 6d6 damage as the thread parts.

And the misfortune you weave runs deeper still: your Ill Wind now forces the target to subtract 1d8 instead of 1d6.
